Join local forager, Lindsey Coyne, for a fun look at edible and medicinal late summer and early autumn plants.
We will meet at the trailhead by the Ashworth pool parking lot at 10 AM for a one hour walk.
We will discuss foraging safely, laws for foraging and Lindsey will identify many edible late summer and early autumn plants, as well as identifiable mushrooms and trees. Bring your Iowa plant questions!
I hope to continue to offer these walks as a donation based resource for our community. I want foraging to be accessible to everyone who wants to learn.
