What does it take to come home, bet on your community, and lead regional change? Jeffrey Goodman has done all three.
Before stepping into his role as the first full-time CEO of the Committee of 100, Goodman built a career that took him from Washington University in St. Louis to France as a Fulbright Scholar to Los Angeles, where he spent seven years in filmmaking. In 2005, he returned to Shreveport to direct The Last Lullaby, raising more than $2 million from 49 local investors and proving that big visions can take root right here in Northwest Louisiana.
Today, Goodman leads one of the region's most established economic development organizations, driving collaboration, civic leadership, and long-term growth across the Shreveport-Bossier area.
Join us for a conversation about entrepreneurship, community investment, and what it looks like to build something meaningful in the place you call home.
Tuesday, July 15 | 8:00 AM
Andress Artist and Entrepreneur Center | Downtown Shreveport
Free and open to the community. Hosted by BRF's Entrepreneurial Accelerator Program, Cohab, Andress Artist and Entrepreneur Center, and Rhino Coffee.
