Originally from Southern California, Mario moved to Louisiana as a young teenager with his life ahead of him and, like most teenagers, an unsure grasp on the future. Dismantling any and every childhood toy he was given and making something new out of the parts was often a pastime Mario enjoyed as early as 2 years old, per his mother. Many years and family member’s electronic equipment later, coupled with countless times of being electrocuted and even accidentally starting a fire in his bedroom while learning the power of alternate current over direct current, it was only natural that Mario would find his way into the military, specifically, the high-tech sector of FM transmissions and satellite communication.After 12 years serving our country Mario decided it was time to hang up his combat boots, settle down and raise his family. Mario utilized the skills he learned in the military and uses his technology expertise in the fields of communication and connectivity in his business offering billing and payment solutions over various mediums. He is the owner of a merchant service sales office and currently handles a portfolio of over 3,000 clients that he personally started from one customer. Besides Merchant services, Mario has grown his company to a full suite consulting company offering businesses across America multiple offerings increasing productivity, streamlining tasks and procedures and decreasing human interactions via technology and custom software developed methods.
This free entrepreneurial event will continue with monthly gatherings at Andress Artist & Entrepreneur Center in downtown Shreveport. Each gathering will feature a new monthly speaker and will allow entrepreneurs to gather, connect, work through business challenges, and identify opportunities in the community and beyond.
