+1 Matchbox Party: Midnight Match Edition

Met Through Friends is teaming up with Matchbox and The Red Pavilion for a late-night, friends-of-friends matching party. This will be our biggest, most spectacular collaboration to date: 200+ singles, 2 aerial performances, 1 match for every guest. You MUST arrive by 11:30PM to participate: you will take the Matchbox questionnaire on-site, and match clues will begin dropping at midnight.

​How it works:

• ​You and your +1 will take a matching questionnaire built by Matchbox's team of relationship scientists.
• ​The Matchbox algorithm will find your optimal match at the party, based on relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize-winning economics. Powered by the technology behind The Marriage Pact that has matched 750,000 people to date, Matchbox will find your best match at the party.
• ​After mingling with hundreds of other great single friends-of-friends, your optimal match will be revealed!

​​Each ticket includes admission for 2 people (1 woman interested in men + 1 man interested in women). Your +1 can be a platonic friend you think would be great for someone else, or a crush you'd like to find a cheeky way to spend time with... up to you! Attendees of this event must bring a single friend of the orientation they're interested in to gain admission. Beverages (including non-alcoholic options) will be available for purchase.

​Q: What's on the agenda?

​​A: You and your +1 will both take a matching questionnaire upon arrival. After mingling with the rest of the guests, your optimal match will be revealed and you'll have a chance to chat with them 1-1!​

​Please arrive on time, as late arrivals will neither be admitted nor will get to participate in the matching questionnaire.​ No refunds will be granted to late arrivals.

​Q: What if I don't have anyone to bring?

​​A: We get it! We require +1s to ensure that our numbers are balanced, and to encourage you to keep your eyes open for great single friends you may have overlooked. Is there a college pal, coworker, or friend-of-a-friend you might not be thinking of? Try asking around, and you might be surprised by who wants to join you.

​​A: This event is tailored for people in their late twenties to late thirties.

​Q: What genders/orientations is this event for?

​​A: This event is is designed for those who identify as women interested in men or men interested in women. However, if you do not fall in either of these identity groups, stay tuned--Met Through Friends is planning a more diverse array of inclusive events in the near future!

​​Q: What is your refund policy?

​​A: No refunds will be granted within 48 hours of the event. You are responsible for finding your own +1, and you will be neither refunded nor granted admission if you arrive without a +1.
