Join us to make beautiful pieces of Fossil vitra, also known as glass fossils! This is a fused glass technique that uses organic material (evergreen in this class) to create imprints in glass. Students will choose leaves to apply powdered glass to and arrange them on a base of white glass. Students with choose from different powdered glass colors to create a amazing, one of a kind prints. We will have pressed foliage available, but students can also bring their own of they desire that has been pressed at least overnight between two pieces of paper and weighted. Finished pieces are 4 3/8”-4 3/8”. Students can make as many as class time allows with the price of 2 included in the registration fee.
Skill: Beginner Level Glass (no cutting required)
Class Fee: $30 class + $31 for materials including 2 tiles due upon registration. Additional tiles are $15 each. Frames will be available for purchase to mount the tiles in or adhesive hangers for the back.

Ages: 14 and up
Fused pieces will be ready the following week for pick-up.
