✊✊⭐ Saturday Bristol Bachata Monthly Party with international teacher and a European Bachata Champion Sergio Suarez & Laïsinha from Madrid recognised on the scene for years as Bachata Sensual, Moderna, Dominican and Bachazouk teacher with elements of other styles delivering top classes in the UK and Internationally - let's welcome him and party with him at our home and Bristol Bachata community ? Let's goooo!
For the first time we will also have an international DJ not he decks - DJ Morcilla with his amazing tunes and music selection
Expect amazing guest teachers as well as additional guests and taxi dancers @ Bristol Bachata!
Our residential international teacher and owner of Bristol Bachata - Jan - will be hosting and teaching alongside our guests delivering classes for all levels from absolute beginners to advanced.
We also expect lot of out-towners joining the night providing the highest level of dancing in South West! Our previous parties we had around 100 dancers per night! Don't miss it this time!
Bristol Bachata Latin Party on Sat 7 June 2025 8pm-1.30am @ central beautiful venue in City Centre - Docklands Community Youth Centre) with bachata classes all levels 8-10.15pm and social party from 10.15pm until 1.30am!
No partner needed!!!! All levels welcome, come solo or with partner/friends! Pay online or on the door (cash/card).
?No bar on site, so feel free to bring your own drinks, including alcohol and snacks.
? Free car park all around the venue and great access with public transport and minutes walk from city centre!

- 8-9.15pm Levels 1 & 2 (beg/imp) with resident teachers, Level 3 & 4 (int/adv) special bachata dynamic class with Sergio & Laïsinha
-9.15-10.15pm Levels 1 & 2 (beg/imp) with resident teachers, Level 3 & 4 (int/adv) special bachata dynamics and flow class with Sergio & Laïsinha
- 10.15pm-1.30am Social party with DJ Morcilla and DJ Jan!
- More than 90% bachata music (song requests welcome) with a touch of salsa and kizomba

- ??Laïsinha is a dancer and teacher based in Madrid, Spain⚡️
Her style is a blend of Bachata Sensual with Dominican and urban flavours, shaped by 11 years of training across different dance styles.
She loves working on hips, footwork, and attitude — always keeping it real, simple, and fun, while focusing on technique and exploring new moves and combos.

Jan - international bachata teacher, owner of Bristol Bachata school and your host, with over 10years bachata dance experience mentored and trained by and then also teaching on the same stage amongst the the very creators of Bachata Sensual Korke y Judith as well as Luis y Andrea, Pablo y Raquel, Gero y Migle and many many others. He has been recognised as an internationally level teacher for over 6years guest teaching in many countries from Spain, Turkey, Greece, Denmark, to Dubai in UAE) and running one of the biggest schools of bachata in the UK.

@Docklands Community Youth Centre, 29 Brigstocke Rd, Bristol BS2 8UA - the venue in city centre with a beautiful wooden dance hall floor, powerful sound system, fans, toilets and free parking.
?ACCESS:
There is a free On Street Parking all around the venue, or access it by walking, scooter/bike/motorbike or public transport - there are great connection by public transport - buses or train station in Montpelier.
⭐ WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
The classes aim to teach you the beauty of Sensual, Modern & Dominican Bachata (Latin Dances) to help you enjoy your social dancing.
You will learn:
- basic steps and technique of Sensual, Modern & Dominican Bachata
- fun and easy to lead moves and routines
- musicality - how to interact with the music
- men's and ladies' styling
- how to connect with your partner and really enjoy your dancing.
No partner or previous dancing experience required. Just come along and have some fun ?
⭐ WHAT IS IT SENSUAL BACHATA?
Sensual bachata was created in Cádiz, Andalusia, Spain, by Korke Escalona and Judith Cordero.
Korke learned the basics of bachata in 1998; then he started developing his own dance style by understanding how the leader (traditionally a man) could lead the body of the follower (traditionally a woman) to interpret the music. Sensual bachata is an independent dance form with strict lead and follow principles. The dance is an interpretation of the music with mostly circular movements and body waves. When the music has stronger beats, however, the dance also uses isolations and dips.
