In this hands-on class at Waikīkī Community Center, you’ll learn how to create adorable Christmas ornaments using traditional lauhala (pandanus leaves). Whether you’re making them for your tree or to gift with love, these woven keepsakes carry the warmth of the season and the beauty of Hawaiian craft.

You’ll be surprised how simple and fun it is—no prior weaving experience needed!

Leialoha’s workshops offer a meaningful hands-on experience. Participants learn to transform lauhala strips into beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces. Whether creating a bracelet to wear with pride or gifting a handmade treasure to a loved one, students leave with a deeper appreciation for this traditional Hawaiian craft.
